Leader:  Kay & Sally (Kay 07432552228 Sally 07951066242) Meet: 10:00 am Backwell Lake CP. GR: ST 478 694
Route: A370 to Backwell. Turn left at traffic lights signed Nailsea. Go under railway bridge and after 230yds the car park is on your left.
Grade: Easy / Moderate, may be muddy. Picnic.

Leader: Dennis & Gisèle  (07985 318 275/ 01934 424 339).  Meet: 10:30am in the Car Park behind The Woodborough Inn.        GR: ST 423 576. Route: Your usual route to Winscombe.                                                                                                                  Grade: One steady climb around Sandford Quarry otherwise mostly level.

Leader: John H ( 01934 633139 / 07799307171). Meet: 10:30am Lake/roadside parking. GR: ST 554 593 
Route: From Churchill take A368 towards Bath. After Compton Martin turn left signed Chew Stoke( also signed Chew Valley Lake), after one and three quarter miles approx, make a U-turn, road/lakeside parking is on RHS of the road. 
Grade: Moderate, Mud, Two steep hills. Picnic.

Leaders: Richard, Vivienne & Madge (07552031213). Meet: 10am (NOTE EARLY START TIME) at the end of Worlebury Hill Road. Park on the road or just in the wood. GR: 331 627.
Grade: Moderate, with one steady climb. Picnic. Please note change to meeting / parking point.
Wednesday 5th FEBRUARY

Route:  your usual route to Churchill traffic lights. Take the Bath road (A368) to Blagdon, turn left into Station Road. Car park on left just before Garston Lane.
Grade: Moderate, Fields & lanes. Picnic

 St Anne's Well -  Arnos Vale - Temple Meads.
You are invited to join Barbara (624138/07934 197780) for a train recce in Bristol.
The train leaves WSM at 9.10 am and we disembark at Temple Meads. The fare is £7.30 return but there is a discount for 3+ passengers travelling together (£4.95 return). The walk will visit several green spaces in Bristol joined by streets and places of interest. This walk was previously in the programme several years ago so this is a refresher.
Grade :  Moderate Two climbs, may be muddy in places. Picnic lunch.

Leader: Sylvia W (07770 266546).   Meet: 10.00 am  Burrington Combe bottom car park (with permission) 50p per car. 
GR: ST 476 590. 
Route: your usual route to Churchill traffic lights. Take the Bath road towards Blagdon A368 and continue for approx 2 miles. Turn right into Burrington Combe, and the car park is on the left after approx 0.3 miles. 
Grade: moderate with usual Mendip ascents and descents. Picnic.
Saturday 15th FEBRUARY   6.7 miles

Meet: 10:00 am  GR: ST  ST 464 606 Park sensitively in Langford Road, in Langford opposite Blackmoor
Route: Usual route to Churchill then A38 in Bristol direction. Take slip-road to left just before petrol station and continue straight to Lower Langford.
Grade: Moderate
Wednesday 19th FEBRUARY       7.5 MilesStogursey – Fiddington                          /// tint.sprinkle.ankle                         Sat Nav: TA5 1BG
Leader: Briggitte (01278 685089/07544 574457) Meet: 10.30 am near Stogursey Church.  GR:  ST 205 430. 
Route: A39 from Bridgwater towards Cannington, take Cannington bypass, then take  Hinkley Point road bypassing Cannington village. Turn left to Stogursey after passing Equestrian centre turning on left. On entering Stogursey take first right turn and park at roadside (Paddons Farm). Grade: Moderate. Picnic.

Leader Ken (01278 793453/07770721954) Meet 10.30 am Cadbury Castle car park GR: 632 252.
Route: Make your way to Shepton Mallet, and onto Castle Cary (A371). Take the A359 (signed Yeovil) and follow signs into South Cadbury. The car park is on the left hand side just past the Camelot Inn.
Grade: Moderate but with three climbs. Spectacular views. Picnic. 40 miles from W-s-M.  Please let me know if you are coming.

Meet: 10:30am Fyne Court CP (free to NT members or £3 all day). GR: ST 223 320.
Route: M5 Jcn 23 then A38 left to Bridgwater. Turn right into Wylds Rd, over traffic lights , right at next traffic lights, thro’ 3 more sets of t/lights and thro’ Durleigh. Turn left on Enmore Rd for apprx 5 miles, then left (after Travellers Rest pub) following signs for Fyne Court.
Grade: Moderate with some Quantock ups and downs. Hopefully lots of snowdrops!! Picnic.

Meet: 10.30 am  in car park at Stockhill Wood   GR: ST 549 514.
Route: Usual route to Churchill, take A368 towards Rickford. After 2 mile turn right (SP Burrington) onto B3134. Continue for 6.7 miles and keep straight at junction with B3135. CP on left after half a mile.
Grade: Lanes, hills and fields. Moderate, picnic.          ** Ring me if coming **
