PLEASE BE AWARE.  Satnav is given as a guide only and cannot be relied upon to take you to the meeting point, especially in a rural location.  The OS grid ref GR:  will  get you to within a 100 metre square.  Route directions in the programme should also get you to the meeting point.

Wednesday 19th FEBRUARY       7.5 MilesStogursey – Fiddington                          /// tint.sprinkle.ankle                         Sat Nav: TA5 1BG
Leader: Briggitte (01278 685089/07544 574457) Meet: 10.30 am near Stogursey Church.  GR:  ST 205 430. 
Route: A39 from Bridgwater towards Cannington, take Cannington bypass, then take  Hinkley Point road bypassing Cannington village. Turn left to Stogursey after passing Equestrian centre turning on left. On entering Stogursey take first right turn and park at roadside (Paddons Farm). Grade: Moderate. Picnic.
 22nd FEBRUARY  

8 miles
Cadbury Castle – Corton Denham – Whitcombe.       /// broker.option.bins                   Sat Nav BA22 7EX
Leader Ken (01278 793453/07770721954) Meet 10.30 am Cadbury Castle car park GR: 632 252.
Route: Make your way to Shepton Mallet, and onto Castle Cary (A371). Take the A359 (signed Yeovil) and follow signs into South Cadbury. The car park is on the left hand side just past the Camelot Inn.
Grade: Moderate but with three climbs. Spectacular views. Picnic. 40 miles from W-s-M.

Wednesday 26th FEBRUARY   7.5 - 8 milesSnowdrops at Fyne Court & the Quantocks.                      /// twice.part.cans                   Sat Nav TA5 2EQ
Leader: Pat M-H (01278 792419 / 07902 210705).
Meet: 10:30am Fyne Court CP (free to NT members or £3 all day). GR: ST 223 320.
Route: M5 Jcn 23 then A38 left to Bridgwater. Turn right into Wylds Rd, over traffic lights , right at next traffic lights, thro’ 3 more sets of t/lights and thro’ Durleigh. Turn left on Enmore Rd for apprx 5 miles, then left (after Travellers Rest pub) following signs for Fyne Court.
Grade: Moderate with some Quantock ups and downs. Hopefully lots of snowdrops!! Picnic.

Meet: 10.30 am  in car park at Stockhill Wood   GR: ST 549 514.
Route: Usual route to Churchill, take A368 towards Rickford. After 2 mile turn right (SP Burrington) onto B3134. Continue for 6.7 miles and keep straight at junction with B3135. CP on left after half a mile.
Grade: Lanes, hills and fields. Moderate, picnic.          ** Ring me if coming **

Mells - Whatley Bottom - Murder Combe - Great Elm (Home of ‘little’ Jack Horner)            Satnav BA11 3PN.

Leader Ken (01278 793453/07770721954) Meet: 10.30am Mells Village CP by recreation ground. GR: ST 724 492.
Route: Burrington Combe to Green Ore and A39. Straight on to B3135 to A37. Turn RT on A37 then immediately LT to Oakhill, Stoke St Michael and Leigh on Mendip. Turn RT down Knapp Hill then 1st LT to Mells. With the Talbot Inn on your RHS drive past the bus shelter and the car park is on your LHS up Longfield Road.
Grade: Moderate. May be muddy so poles recommended. Picnic

Early start

 Leader: Penny W (01934631145) Meet: 10 am Sharpham Fields Car Park GR: ST447 535 by rugby ground. 
 Route: A 371 to Cheddar, right on B3151 to Wedmore and immediately right at bridge over Strawberry Line.
Grade: steep first half then easy walking. Return by lunch time.
Wednesday 11th MARCH

Leader:Pat M-H (01278 792419 / 07902 210705). Meet: 10:30am Helwell Bay free CP. GR: ST 076 433
Route: From Bridgwater, A39 in Minehead direction. Once past the Windmill Inn in St Audries turn right after Murco garage, signed Doniford. Continue into Watchet residential area, turn right after Kingsland & just before a left hand bend onto lane (not easy to see), over narrow bridge to CP at end on left.
Grade: moderate /easy with some modest ups and downs. Picnic.

Route:  M5 Jcn 23 then A38 left to Bridgwater. Turn right into Wylds Rd, over traffic lights , right at next traffic lights, thro’ 3 more sets of t/lights and thro’ Durleigh. Turn left onto Enmore Rd for apprx 5 miles, at Pynes Café keep straight on, CP on left in under half a mile.
Grade: Moderate / Hard (it’s The Quantocks ). Muddy, slippery,  long steep ups and downs.  Picnic.

Leader Allan R (0783 392 1334 ). Meet: 10.30 am Loxton. Grid Ref: ST 373 556
Route: From Weston take A370 to Bleadon then turn left, SP Bleadon & Loxton. Follow SP to Loxton (about 3 m). In village at T-junc turn left for roadside parking and meet at junction.
 Grade: Fields, lanes, hills, can be muddy. Moderate, picnic.
